China's Middleware Revenues To Grow
16.5% In Next Five Years January 10, 2008
CCID Consulting forecasts
China's middleware software revenues will reach 2.74 billion Yuan by 2012,
growing at a CAGR of 16.45% over the next five year period. CCID Consulting
expects to see more SOA dominance, increasing importance of EDA, and
expanding demands of systems integrators to implement middleware.
By the end of 2007,
middleware revenues are projected to reach 1.28 billion, with 19.7% growth
over 2006.

The release of SOA
development standards in 2007 was an important milestone, and will usher new
vendor development opportunities. More middleware vendors in China are
incorporating SOA as their future development direction.
